Hello all, I've been playing Pokemon since red version and never gotten into competitive. Always just played the game as is. I've posted here in the past about this a while ago but got caught up with work and didn't get into details about it but now even though I'm still working I got a lot of down time during work and trying to figure out how to build a team. Right now on Shield I'm breeding a torkoal (2nd favorite Pokemon) and I'm trying to figure out what he needs as in stats.

Right now I'm breeding it with Bold nature and with white smoke ability. But as for stats I don't know what I'm looking for. Do I want "Best" for everything or do I want Best on everything but speed. I'm really not to sure. My torkoal in the daycare has best everything but defense and my ditto (jpn) has decent HP and pretty good Defense and everything else is best. Is there something I should change? Or is there any tips on what I should look for. Also I'm willing to trade if you want some of these. Have a box full of them with mixed stats
