It's pretty simple but I'm actually really happy about the way the limited access to Pokemon will shape a unique and changing meta per new generation. It'll force people out of their usual OU teams and have to use the new mons to create and utilize new strategies.

Obviously this COULD backfire in that if they're not mindful about who they include and who they do not it could cause massive imbalance but I have faith and the Pokemon we've seen confirmed for the region thus far are promising.

I'm not saying they couldn't by VGC rules limit it to just Galar dex, there are definitely some of my favorite Pokemon who I doubt will make the cut, but I'm still fine with it and I'm excited to see what they have for us.

The new Galar region looks beautiful, im in love with how alive the entire zone seems like it is going to be, and it is about time we have Pokemon in the overworld as part of a main game. I know it's not perfect and plenty feel they should be pushing some standard for some area more, but that's not why I play Pokemon and I fully intend to play this generation. National Dex or Not.
