Is there anyway to replace an internal battery in a copy of Pokemon Sapphire?

Just wondering since my copy has been sitting around for a while and I want to get back to it. Also, what are good pokemon I should catch in Sapphire? I missed out on gen 3 since I never had a gba at the time and all I ever got was a ds lite as my first handheld.
