What’s Your Favorite Core Games Generation?

I’ve mostly played Generations 3 and 6. Beaten Hoenn’s Pokémon League multiple times and Kalos’ once. I’ve dabbled with 1 and 2, but never beat either of them. Never played Gens 4, 5, or 7 .

So, tell me what I’m missing! I’m interested in adding a new game to my library. I honestly only got into Gen 6 because of ORAS, but once I had the system, I figured I might as well go back and play XY.

Unfortunately I never bought anything but those two before the eShop was discontinued, but Black and White look interesting, and I definitely want to play Sun/Moon.
