nevermore

sitting here, everything idle
not a word to be said
his eyes undress her body
her mind unmasks his heart
he caresses her skin
with a soft touch
aiming to sin
yet not too much
she craves his love
as he satiates her lust
they lay in bed
with too many words unsaid
only thoughts of each other in their heads
in that moment, each other’s cures
knowing that moment could be nevermore
