Oh hiiiiiiii,
It's approaching that time of year again when Valentine's Day looms, spurring feelings both good and bad... but in this sub you know we keep romantic words fresh and new.
This year I'm keen to show that freshness and make sure we explore modern love poetry. Shakespeare and pals can take a back seat, for once.
To that end, we're requesting that all posted poetry is firstly of a romantic nature and secondly is from the last 50 years. Look at contemporary poets and how they bring a different look at romance and age-old desires in a new light.
Please avoid tumblrpoets and OC, but explore new horizons and share your discoveries.
