Live streaming upcoming podcast episodes

Who has done this? What tips do you have for streaming episode recordings or getting the word out about them? Do you stream the whole episode or only part of it?
I'm going to experiment with streaming next week's episode during today's recording on Periscope and Facebook Live. Going to put up a big dry erase board behind us with the name of the show, saying 'Swipe to share!' and frame it up nicely. Then I was gonna delete it after 24 hours.
