Anyone else shut off when it feels like people on the podcast are REALLY trying to laugh or have a good time?

Post Body

Just a thought that I’ve had with podcasts and YouTube channels, especially ones with banter or are supposed to be funny/entertaining - it feels more and more apparent to me when people are playing things up for the mic/camera.

I get this hollow vibe from conversations that feel like they’re not felt genuinely, or that so much effort is being put into making it feel like a high energy exchange.

This isn’t most podcasts or shows I’ve listened to to be clear, just an observation one had for a bit. Curious if people have experienced similar things.
