Audio friends: I have an H8 Zoom recorder. Zoom upgraded me when their replacement H6 still picked up interference. (Seriously, way to go Zoom for replacing gear at no extra cost and then upgrading me when that didn't work.)
I normally plug in Shure SM58 microphones. On my H4 and H6, I didn't have a problem with one voice ending up in the background of the other track. With the new toy, I'm noticing I show up in the guest's track often. Yes, I have a loud voice. But this didn't happen on the H6.
Is it likely I have a setting to adjust? Or are there better microphones to use with the H8?
Thanks so much in advance!
Edit: To clarify, I don't think there's anything wrong with my H8. I think I either need a different kind of microphone or I need to fiddle with a setting. But audio engineering was never my big talent.
