Weird Monthly Spike In Downloads

Towards the end of every month I get a weird build up in downloads. As in something ranging from 1/6th to 1/4th of all downloads come in the last two or three days it seems. Has anyone else experienced this? I am using Libsyn to host, in case that matters in some way. My podcast is twice weekly, so I don't see any reason why towards the end of each month folks would suddenly rush out to listen...
