what is a good sound editing app/ what is a good vid editing app for video version of the podcast?

I want to start my podcast and in the beginning, sound wise, I was doing great with audacity alone, but now, i really want to post the episodes to youtube but without appearing. I was thinking of using related images or clips to whatever topic I talk about (while adding subtitles if needed for depth), what is a good app for each version? and side quest, is my idea good or flop?
