Where do reviews matter?

Been hoping to get some feedback on where reviews can be influential. In particular, spotify is only stars and no actual reviews, whereas Apple apparently can have reviews but I haven't found a way to leave one when I'm logged in to that account.
So been wondering where I can meaningfully show support for other podcasts w/ reviews with Apple not being an option. There's a lot of other sites that have fields to review podcasts, but I'm less sure which ones particularly matter (for example, my host will pull reviews from Podchaser as well, but not sure if that's a wide standard or not)
