I’m just curious because I’m launching my first audio drama soon. And I’m fully aware it isn’t the best script or the best quality all around, but I put a lot of work into it.
I’m pretty nervous because although I’ve gotten some good feedback I’ve also gotten quite a bit of flack with my pilot episode. Which isn’t stopping me considering this is my first time launching a podcast.
I’ve heard some podcasts that are so well done and sound as professional as can be with sound fx, music, script etc. and I’ve also heard some where it’s almost a chore to listen to.
So I was wondering if there’s any podcasts that you like that may have bad sound quality and/or just a not-so-great story? I’m genuinely curious if the average listener wants that really professional sounding podcast.
