Meraki Salesforce Integration MVP

Project Objective: The Meraki Salesforce Integration MVP project aimed to upgrade Cisco’s Quoting application to enable Specialist users to view, convert, and integrate quotes into opportunities from Salesmain MPQ. This upgrade was part of Cisco’s strategy to enhance business alignment between Meraki and EN Architectures, ultimately driving increased sales pipeline potential.

Outcome: The project successfully delivered an MVP software release into the Production environment. This upgrade facilitated a more efficient process for Specialist users, allowing them to track and manage Cisco Deal Opportunities more effectively. The integration enhanced the alignment between Meraki and EN Architectures, contributing to a potential increase in the sales pipeline and supporting Cisco’s strategic objectives.

Role: As the Scrum Master, I was responsible for facilitating the Agile development process, ensuring that the project team adhered to Scrum practices and principles. My role was critical in managing the workflow, resolving impediments, and ensuring the successful delivery of the MVP.

Responsibilities and Deliverables:

  1. Facilitate Agile Processes:
    • Conducted daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to promote team collaboration and continuous improvement.
    • Ensured that Scrum practices were effectively implemented, facilitating smooth communication and workflow within the team.
  2. Team Coordination and Support:
    • Acted as a liaison between the project team and stakeholders to ensure that requirements were clearly understood and addressed.
    • Supported team members by removing obstacles and facilitating problem-solving to maintain project momentum.
  3. Project Tracking and Reporting:
    • Monitored sprint progress and project metrics to ensure timely delivery of the MVP.
    • Provided regular updates to stakeholders, highlighting progress, challenges, and upcoming milestones.
  4. Quality Assurance:
    • Coordinated with the quality assurance team to ensure that the MVP met the required functionality and quality standards.
    • Facilitated user acceptance testing to validate that the integration met user needs and business objectives.
  5. Delivery Management:
    • Oversaw the final deployment of the MVP into the Production environment, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to users.
    • Ensured that the delivered solution was fully functional and aligned with the project objectives.

Deliverable: The successful deliverable was the accepted MVP software release into the Production environment. This release allowed Specialist users to effectively view, convert, and integrate quotes into opportunities from Salesmain MPQ, aligning with Cisco’s strategic goals and enhancing the sales pipeline.

This project underscored my ability to lead Agile teams, manage project deliverables, and contribute to strategic business outcomes through effective Scrum facilitation.
