I (23M) would like to thank everyone here for your help, i passed on April 6th and got my official score yesterday.
I decided to do my exam while fasting in Ramadan and i have no regrets, helped me in staying focused and disciplined. My overall score was AT apparently but man was it tough for me, i thought i was cooked in the first section of the exam. Anyway, here’s what i did, it might work for you or it may not, its completely up to you.
1- AR course - i got this course before i joined the reddit channel, apparently everyone’s raving about it. Honestly it was a good course but it was super dry in my opinion and i couldn’t retain as much information as i wanted to. This course took me about 3-4 months to finish while working and i got like 42% on his mock exam.
2- PMP bootcamp- Honestly if it weren’t for the bootcamp i dont think i would’ve passed, i paid 2K CAD for a 3 day bootcamp which was super expensive in my opinion but they crashed all the knowledge into me and i did manage to retain most of it. They went through what will come on the exam and what wont. I scored about 50- 60% in their mock exam. If you dont have the money for it then dont do a bootcamp as long as you retained the information from your first course. I took this bootcamp from 25 March -27 March
3- Study Hall- this was the holy grail in my op, if you want to drop money anywhere it should be here. They have so many questions for you to practice on. I got 62% and 61% on my exams but the important part is i understood what i did wrong and i knew how to read the questions in the actual exam. If i had to do it again id get the study hall 4 weeks before my exam and do all 5 mock exams just so im fully ready. I did study hall about 10 days before my exam and i forced myself to do as many questions as i can, even on the toilet. I may have rushed it and not given myself much breathing room which caused me to sacrifice a week of my gym and social life but it was worth it.
4- DM videos- these were amazing, id do this hand in hand with study hall. I watched his 200 agile questions and 150 scenario based. I say the more the merrier.
5- The exam- the exam was divided into 3 sections, i found the first section so tough. The exam was quite tricky, i found it slightly harder than the study hall questions but i managed. In terms of timing i was trying to get a question a minute. By the end of the exam i finished it with 66 minutes to spare which have me a lot of time to go over my last section of the exam. Keep in mind that once you finish a section you cant go back so even though you should review your flagged questions please dont spend an absurd amount of time reviewing them. Keep in mind of time and how many questions you have to go. I also bought a set of blue light glasses which helped me from fatigue. PLEASE TAKE YOUR BREAKS, i’ve heard people having to re-log in after their breaks and losing some time but i didnt go through such a thing. So check that in with the front office before you enter so you know what to expect.
