Im about to apply in plymouth for master’s in architecture, however i wanna know how the culture here, what should i prepare and all. Oh and also is it easy to find halal options foods in plymouth?
There is quite an established Muslim community in Plymouth and there are a fair few halal cafes and restaurants as well as shops that cater.
Plymouth is a really interesting city in terms of architecture and town planning. There is a lot of 20th century architecture and design because it was heavily bombed during WW2 and then redesigned completely afterwards. More recently it has received its fair share of “bad” buildings and has the ignominious honour of having received two carbuncle awards! That being said, the city is varied and in some places incredibly old, so there is a really wide selection of architectural styles. Good luck!
