Hi!
I'm moving down to plymouth in a months time and after visiting a few times previously ive noticed the city centre is under some renovation. I looked on google maps and saw that it looked so much prettier with lots of trees before although that has been cut down in prepartion for a new several million pound project. Personally I feel the new projected area looks worse and less natural in a cement town which benefits from trees.
Does anyone know where the renovation stands and if they are actively working on it still or is it facing delays (as thats what usually happens with big projects like this). Has anyone got a date it is said to be finished by?
Those trees were planted in the 1980s when the whole area was pedestrianised. Nothing to do with world war two, they were not culturally significant other than people liked too look at them on their way to work
