This show is pretty terrible, so I'm not sure why I watched a whole season, but I did.
Plot Hole #1:
When they get to the new planet, it's not rotating. So, they place a bunch of machines on the planet to spin it up. It's starts spinning, and oh, no! There's a methane ocean that's now exposed to the Sun and catches fire, resulting in survival hijinks. Somehow, nobody on the 2 ships orbiting this planet knew there was this much methane on the planet.
But... in previous episodes, Ark 1 was able to detect Uranium and Alishuminium (the unknown chemical that's used as a weapon) over vast distances of space. So, somehow they manage to detect those from far, far away, but they can't detect methane on the planet they are orbiting?
Plot Hole #2:
The bad lady from Ark 15 (I can't remember her name) fired on Ark 1 and Ark 3, because she wanted the planet all to herself. Fair enough. Except, she needed spider DNA to cure her Clampkins disease (Clampkins is a goofy name for a disease, BTW). And the spider DNA was hidden on Ark 1. She had no idea which Ark the spider DNA was on until her daughter discovered William Trust on Ark 1, so if she wanted to live, she's a complete dumbass for firing on either ship.
Finally, James Brice (Richard Fleeshman) is hot.
