Need help connecting PS5 to optimum hotspot

Does anyone have any luck connecting the PS5 to Optimum Wi-Fi hotspots? I want to be able to carry the ps5 with me to my fam house but they older and don’t have Wi-Fi but for some reason I can’t just sign in and add device like I use to on the ps4. I tried browser log in and that didn’t work & optimum no longer has the option to add your device’s MAC address so it can auto connect to their free Wi-Fi hotspots. Any tips?
