PSVR adapter for PS5

So, I called Sony support about a month ago to order the PSVR adapter for PS5 and they said I should get both a confirmation email and and a shipping email in about a week when it shipped. After a week a no emails I called Sony support again and they confirmed that I requested the adapter and they would be sending me one but it might take up to a month. Now it’s been a month and still no email or adapter, so I’ll be calling Sony again. Is this normal? Are people actually getting their adapters?
