Hello! I loved hearing about the development of a game called Hat In Time. I was very disappointed when it finally released to find that it did not run well on my macs. Lots of low FPS moments made the game just not nearly as fun. Sure my MacBook didn’t have gaming PC specs but I think more likely the mac version was an afterthought. There were tons of graphical glitches too so it certainly wasn’t thoroughly debugged.
I noticed it has hit the PlayStation network and I am wondering if that means they hit some bar of quality for the frame rate of the game. There are no reviews for it. I would love to play but I don’t want to shell out money for this game again only to find the developers just made a lazy port of it….
So I guess I’m wondering. When games come on the store do they have to pass some bar of quality?
Of note they did mention that running at 60fps is exclusive to the PS5…. No idea what this indicates about the PS4.
