Unable to download games from my friends account

Hi there everyone so I’m having an issue downloading games from my friends account, I activated his account with game sharing and what not, I’m on PS5 and he’s on PS4 so I don’t know if that’s maybe the issue but I doubt it. If anyone can help or has advice it will be much appreciated
