Hey all,

Ran into this issue after work today. Controller is fine in the main menu but does not work in any game or app. For example if I boot a game up and get a "Hit x to continue" screen I cannot get anything to happen, but if I go back to the main menu X and all of my buttons seem to work again. I did a system reset, still same issue. Then I reset the controller using the hole on that back and it seemed like my issue was fixed.

However, I realized not ALL of my buttons were fixed, my R2 was not responding. I reset again and R2 is still down. This is a fairly new controller, it has not fallen, the spring seems fine....touching R2 feels just like touching L2 so I don't think its a spring. If it was just the R2 controller I would figure it was just broken, but since this happened so close to the other issue i'm not sure. I used a gamepad tester and it confirmed it was receiving no input from R2. I have googled and searched reddit and have found folks having the issue but I was unable to find a fix. Just wondering if anyone has dealt with this or has any ideas?

EDIT: If anyone sees this in the future I fixed it by beating the shit out of my R2 button. What I think happened is that even though the button seemed fine it was actually somehow stuck in the down position, hitting it hard set it loose.....either that or I just hit it right (thats what she said) and its working now.
