Recently upgraded from PS4 to PS5, been years since I've logged into my PS Network account manually so I've forgotten my password AND my security question answers aren't correct (even though my answers should be). And for some godforsaken reason it's telling me my birthday is incorrect when I try to use it to verify my identity.
I thought "ok, no big deal, I'll just contact support since my email is the same". However it seems like there's no way to actually contact a support agent. Calling the phone number just tells me "extremely high call volume" then hangs up, interacting with the chat bot just tells me that no agents are currently available try again later (even though I have tried multiple days in a row). I tried asking the "PlayStation Expert" support but they don't have access to my account info and pushed me over to the nonresponsive support agents.
Pulling my hair out in this feedback loop. What am I supposed to do?
