HELP NEEDED - USB MIC NOT BEING RECOGNIZED IN MW2

I'M ATTEMPTING TO USE MY USB MIC FOR INPUT AUDIO AND MY HEADSET CONTROLLER FOR OUTPUT AUDIO. I CAN HEAR FOOT STEPS AND THE GAME ITSELF BUT I CAN'T HEAR MY TEAMMATES NORE CAN THEY HEAR ME.
I'VE BEEN ON YT FOR HOURS TRYING TO FIGURE OUT SOLUTIONS TO THIS ISSUE. WHEN I TEST IT IN THE PS5 SOUND SETTINGS PAGE I CAN HEAR MYSELF LOUD AND CLEAR BUT ONCE I GO TO THE GAME THERE IS ABSOULUTELY NOTHING. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME FIGURE THIS OUT AS IT WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
