I tried my first raid Sunday before bed. The server was going to wipe by when I woke up so I wanted to try it finally as this is my 2nd weekend playing. I play on a weekly wipe server and got in right before blue prints wiped so I get a hang of things.

I got 19 satchels, 8 bean cans and I had 1 pick just on me. Found a rock side on a metal base. Blew through the rock to find 3 metal walls. Picked one and got it to 500 health before I ran out...got nothing and was a sad boy going to sleep. It was a 5x5 base all metal but that wall, level 2 doors. I'd ran out of rope and lived in the snow (main base raided that day but I had explosives still) which is why I still had beans. So no ladder to climb on the 1 story and guess a roof. What could I have done to tell a better spot to blow up or should I just have gone through the doors? Besides farming a ladder, but it was like a 30min run to find barrels and back.
