I just got into rust this week, with someone else, and we were having a lot of fun. We made a small honeycombed base so that it would be harder to raid, and we were advancing pretty well. Had just made a mining quarry, went outside to place it, and i was shot by a guy camping outside with an ak. He then built a scaffolding, got into our base, took everything, and destroyed it.
Usually in survival games, there's a sense of oh well he earned that, i fucked up, or i guess ill have of start from scratch again, no big deal. But i didn't get that with this game. I lost everything because one guy wanted me to, and there wasn't any skill involved. i admit i rage quit the server. I'm super pissed. I'm not saying this is a bad game, i'm just curious what you guys find enjoyable about it.
TLDR: newb gets mad cause he got raided, bitches about the game
