Why does Oilrats jump so much?

Noob here watching Oilrats and his movement seems so like calculated, but he jumps alll the time: when jiggle peaking, when walking forward, in fights etc. I understand why when he’s expecting someone cos he can see more/people don’t expect him to jump around cover (barricades/nodes) so he can peak somewhat safely but wouldn’t jumping whilst running make you vulnerable??
