New Pixelmon Player. Questions.

1) What are the best/preferred settings (spawn rate, etc) for Single Player?
2) Do people use other mods with Pixelmon Reforged? I know there is the PokeRadar mod. Do I need a separate mod to view EVs/IVs of pokemon?
What are some core mods to use with Pixelmon?
3) How different is singleplayer vs multiplayer? Should I try to get into a server to play with people? Or is singleplayer not much different? (i.e. how would you get pokemon that you must trade with to evolve while playing single player?)
