Please, sir, my visual novel, she is very sick.

THIRD EDIT: This thread is over a day old and it's still on the front page so I might as well say that I'm still reading comments and making changes, would love to hear more. Also the game is playable via the web browser now.

The link above will let you download it and play through the alpha. It's got placeholder graphics but the story is complete. I have plans to improve it but at this point, I'm ready to move on.

Nobody has given me any feedback on this, nobody has seen it(that I can tell). It's a story that means a lot to me and I believe that it might be pretty good. I'm trying something different and I have no idea if it's effective.

The current plan is to replace the art and call it a day but I cannot figure out how much I should invest in this project. I cannot even figure out if I should bother to do that because I have gotten zero feedback!!!

Just tell me your honest opinion of the story. Please. I'd love some constructive criticism.
