Just as the title says I was playing with a nice frame rate and the next day I wasn't. Used to rock 60 on pretty much every map and the lowest I'd see was around 50 on Gen2. Now I'm barely managing 40 with dips almost as low as 15, it can stutter when quickly changing directions and flying/moving quickly.

My PC isn't amazing but I didn't really expect any issues playing a 6-7 year-old game, and of course, it previously worked just fine - I even have recordings where I had better fps than I did now and that was obviously with recording software running.

I've updated my drivers and made sure there's nothing in the background using extra resources. The only things I can recall doing before the drop was playing around with the mating interval (which I reversed but had no effect) and installing some CUDA toolkit for a program that used GPU acceleration.

I'm absolutely stumped and have no idea what, if anything, I can try next except for total re-installs which I'm not that keen on as my internet is pretty trash. Anyone with similar issues or possible solutions would be greatly appreciated :).

Specs: RTX2070, i5 9600K and 16GB of RAM
