Single Player Imprinting?

Even after the kibble rework, my Dinos still ask for Dino specific kibble I.e. Terror Bird Egg, Is that normal? I see other people/youtube videos with other options such as cooked prime fish meat etc.
I have all DLC's except Extinction, is that the issue?
