So here's an idea that I'd like some feedback and suggestions on. This came to me when someone asked, "If you could have only one tamed dino in ARK, what would it be?" And the thought came to me: What about a One-Tame server, meaning you can only have one tamed dino at a time? This dino can be your personal companion, mount, pet, whatever you want it to be, but it is a part of you, and you are a part of it. Your dino is more than just a follower, it is a label for your play style and what you can bring to a tribe. You identify with your dino. In that way, each person in a tribe would have a role and a job to do, and no one person could command an entire army of dinos. You can tame a new dino whenever you want, but if you are currently bonded with a dino when the new tame is complete, the old tame is no longer yours, either becoming wild again or dying.
This is something I may be interested in creating and running, and I just wanted to get some thoughts, feedback, ideas, etc from the community to see what you think. Or if you know of servers that already do this, how well does it work?
