Has anyone else noticed the lack of narcoberrys when taming vs the surplus when your not?

Really pisses me off that I can't find them when I'm taming cause I forgot to grab them off the last Dino or wasn't prepared. Normally I find 50 in two miniutes but while taming I find 5 in the same time. Wtf
