I know that this is a stupid question, but bear with me, I've never experienced hurricanes and long power outages before. So, we've been without power for almost 24 hours and as a result most of our food has gone bad, since the fridge was not working. So I need to restock our supplies. But with outage this long I'm not sure that food in supermarkets was stored in the proper conditions, especially the items that needed to be refrigerated. In your experience how's the situation with supermarkets after long outages of power?
