Old plastidip gallons

I have 3 gallons of the original formula(black) that have been sitting in my storage unit since 2013. It’s not climate controlled or anything. Are they ok to use as a base? I want to dip my 07 Subaru Forester XT. I was thinking I could use the old gallons as the base and then just buy the small car kit and put another 3 gallons of the new product on top. Any thoughts, opinions and concerns are welcome
