So I just attempted to donate plasma for the first time at Grifols and was turned around because supposedly I made the permanent deferral list. The tech said I wasn’t on the NDDR which is good, but he’s unable to see why I was permanently deferred from Grifols and that I can never donate at any of their centers. I’ve literally never given plasma in my life, nor do I have HIV, Hepatitis, or any other diseases. (obviously, because I’m pretty sure I’d be on the NDDR).
What are some other reasons one would be denied?
