Hello fellow plant lovers,
I’m a newbie plant parent and have recently discovered some fungus gnats in my majesty palm (yeah, it came from a big box store). I had repotted it upon bringing it home, so I’m not sure if it’s from the store or the soil... I digress...
I’ve been trying to read up on getting rid of them and seeing a lottttt of info (tbh, it’s a tad overwhelming) suggesting drying out the plant, Neem oil, insecticidal spray/powder, and even coffee grounds?
What would you lovely folks recommend? Also, any solid sites or even books for a newbie to read up on to learn more about plant care? All of our prior plants were planted in the ground, so I’ve never much dealt with potted plants.
Thank you so much!!
