New Plant Grower Needs Help Saving Life of Beloved Hyacinth
Post Body

Hi there,

I am an amateur indoor plant grower who has only done succulents so far. I decided to take a leap with a water hyacinth but they're fairing very poorly after just one week with me. The store i got them from claims that they're pretty hard to kill but within a few days, the leaves are drooping, turning yellow, turning brown at the leaf ends and curling inward. Please see attached images for reference. I've trimmed the roots as instructed. and put them in full view of sunlight. They are indoor by the window in Boston which has had mixed sun light for the last 2 weeks.

Please help. The water is tap water.
