Gifted Plant(need help)

My girlfriend gifted me this little guy a few months ago, I've been watering him regularly. I just noticed these little white (eggs?) Under one of his leaves. Are these aphid eggs or something else that I should be worried about? Should I change his soil and pot? I literally don't know anything about him, I would love any and all help to keeping him healthy!
