Hey all, so Iโm pretty sure I know why my monstera is drooping, but wanted to see thoughts.
So Iโm really new to plants, have had this monstera for almost a week and recently started to wilt.
For the soil I heard it was supposed to be chunky and airy, so I got orchid mix based on many suggestions from online for a monstera. I added that and some plant food in the pot.
It definitely looked chunkier than what I saw other peopleโs had, but wasnโt sure. The pot has good drainage, and by good I think maybe way TOO much. I watered it this morning because the soil registered as dry in multiple places after I watered it yesterday. And the water almost comes right out the bottom when I do.
My thought is to remix the soil and add a good amount of regular potting soil to have it be able to hold on to moisture better.
Let me know if maybe thereโs another reason or if you think Iโm on the right track. Thank you so much, so happy this community exists!
