Philodendron of 2 weeks already growing yellow.

Need help. We got this philodendron maybe a little under 2 weeks ago. But the leaves slowly started turning yellow less than a week after we bought it, so I watered it, placed it in a room with little more natural light, but it hasn’t changed a bit. Wondering if I need to give it more time in the sun, more water, anything else?
