Avocado Plant Getting Dry Leaves

Post Body

Hi my avocado plant that I grew from a seed has been getting the tips of the leaves dry. I water once a week or if I see the soup start to get dry and it gets plenty of sunlight by a window. I also used fertilizer earlier this summer for the first time. I live in Chicago where it can get cold but itโ€™s indoor all the time and itโ€™s warm indoor. Anyone know what is happening to it and if I should prune the leaves that are drying up. Do you recommend using a growth light for it.
