Is there any hope in saving my Arborvitae Thuja Smaragd trees at this point? (see pics) 2nd pic is far left tree which I think is hurting the most 3rd pic is far right tree which shows more green than the other two.
I have 3x Arborvitae Thuja Smaragd trees that stand 7 ft tall. They were delivered to me where the roots were bagged into a potato sack. I was not able to get them into the ground until a week later but I feel it may have damaged their health.
As treatment, I have been trying to water them aggressively since we had a week of 90 degree full sun weather and they are placed facing East. I have drip lines that run 3 times for 45 minutes at the top of the hour starting at 6:00am.
I need some advice to help save them. Have I gone past the point of no return and the trees are just dying a slow death? Should I lessen the amount of water? I have also tried giving them Miracle Grow (blue powder mix) in hopes that it could give life to recover.
