New to houseplants, please help with my Alocacia

My Alocasias biggest leaf started turning colors and getting these weird black spots after bringing it home from Lowes about a week ago. I keep it under its own grow light while I'm at work, so about 8 hours. I water the plant based on my Blossom plant care app reminders, but make sure not to water If the soil is still damp. It's in its own well draining soil mixture in a pot with drainage holes. Help!
