How do I fix my tree?

Post Body

I've had this tree for 15 years and it's gotten really leggy due to not getting enough light. I've honestly just gone with it as it's so tall that I have nowhere in the house to put it where it would get sufficient light. It's recently started putting out these mini-trees from it's branches. I think it looks cool right now but at some point it won't anymore. Can I take one of the mini-trees off to continue it's legacy in a sunnier spot? How would I do that?
