Experience Total Wine vs Spec's for online pickup
Post Body

I wanted to share my experience between the two in case others are interested.

Total Wine- Instore or contactless curbside available. No appointment necessary, you just show up in one of many (I'm guessing about 10) spots and text name/spot and they'll load it in your trunk. Show id in a manner they can see and you're good to go. I held it up through my window. They were wearing gloves/masks.

Major downside is they're out of a lot of items and even if you're not picky it can be a pain to find what you're looking for.

Specs- Plano locations are instore pickup only. They make you pick a time but it seems like you can pick up the order anytime after its picked. I felt like i was a bother, i had to hunt down an employee to make sure i was in the right place to pick it up. Gave my name, showed id, then was given a pda to sign with my finger. No mask requirement and i didn't see employees with any.

Major upside was they had a lot more instock
