Travel: Turn off water but what about foundation?
Post Body
We travel periodically.
Typically, I would turn off the main water valve in the garage and drain the pipes prior to traveling.
However, given the soil in Texas we obviously want to keep watering our lawn and run our soaker hose while we are away.
Our home just has a single valve to shut off water.
Is there some way to shut off water to the inside of the house yet still keep the sprinkler system and soaker hoses running?
What do y'all do when you travel in the summer?
