I used to play Yu-Gi-Oh competitively for a good 4 years until I quit last summer. One of the things I liked about Yu-Gi-Oh is that there are a few good free simulators to learn and test with like Dueling Book and YGOPro. I want to start learning Pokemon and testing cards but it doesn't seem like there is any equivalent over here.
Is there any interest in a desktop based simulator like Dueling Book where everything has to be manually selected and placed but there is at least current images and an interface? I don't know if that type of thing is frowned upon here since its appropriating The Pokemon Company's IP but it could be useful for learning and maybe remove the paywall that stops me from getting started.
Thoughts?
