Can't edit video on 8a

Recently switched from a Pixel 5 to an 8a and while I love most things about the upgrade I can't wait video on the 8a. Every editor I used on the 5 was smooth and problem free but on the 8a it freezes and audio and video get out of sync. Anyone else notice video editor issues with the 8a? Particularly in TikTok, Capcut, Adobe Rush, Lightcut.
